The special formulation found in EPL™ Gear Oil reduces the need to add "Friction Modifiers" for the purpose of preventing chatter in clutch posi differentials. EPL™ allows your rear end work at peak performance and maximum efficiency. Chatter is a result of the "grab and release" action of the clutches whereas friction modifiers create a controlled slip, eliminating the chatter. EPL™ reduces chatter by making clutches grab tighter, not looser!
