APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

These instructions are derived from actual hands on experience from our Zoopseal Specialists right here that apply it on a daily basis and have come across hints and tips. These instructions update periodically and we suggest you come back and follow these rather than use the printed sheet that comes with your kit for the most up to date procedures.

A Full Kit will supply complete coverage for 75 sq. ft, which will cover the equivalent of at
least an entire engine and four wheels. The Junior Kit will cover 37 sq. ft. ZoopSeal™ will NOT remove any scratches or nicks that are on your component, so you may need to have your component re-polished BEFORE you apply ZoopSeal™, since it will seal in any defects your part already has.

First, take the time to carefully review the included short video tape as a visual reference before reading the instructions, to insure maximum results from your application. Be absolutely sure to read over the instructions (preferably on this website) thoroughly before you begin the procedure, since if there are any late breaking changes or tips, they will be reflected here rather than in the printed instructions or the video tape.

General Overview:
A)   Insure the surface is the way you want it to appear. Polish  as necessary.
B)   Mix the Zoopseal Part-A and Part-B together and allow to blend for a few hours
C)   Clean the surface with the Zoop Cleaner (by this time the above will be ready)
D)   Apply the Zoopseal Mix
E)   Allow several hours to a day to dry and harden (depending on the weather, etc)
F)   Polish coating to an invisible surface - YOUR DONE!

Pre-Application Step:

1. Pour the bottle Part "B" into the bottle Part "A", (DO NOT USE OTHER

BOTTLES you may have laying around, we provide you with all bottles. Even
the smallest amount of dirt, debris or foreign matter can embed themselves into
your final finish. Do not mix in any plastic bottle
not supplied in your kit. The
Part-B chemical can cause a reaction with the plastic and eat the bottle during
mixing, which can appear as a "crystallizing" layer at the bottom of the bottle.)

2. Shake the bottle to mix it together. This becomes ZoopSeal™, the mixture could
take a maximum 3 hours to complete the blending process. The final mixed
product may appear clear, yellow or cloudy. This does not affect the performance
of the product in any way. Periodically shake the bottle up. (If the mixture looks
separated after you continue to shake the bottle, please call ZoopSeal).

WARNING: PART "A" AND PART "B" ARE FLAMMABLE! DO
NOT SMOKE OR LIGHT A MATCH AROUND THESE CHEMICALS!

ZoopSeal is not compatible with strong acids and alkaline products. These will
     remove the ZoopSeal.
While you are waiting, proceed to the next step.
3. The surface you are going to protect will look exactly as it does now. Zoopseal
     does
not improve or cover up defects or make the shine better. It will only protect
your surface. Polish as necessary using your favorite polish to the appearance
     you want to have protected.

Application Steps:

STEP 1: ZoopSeal Concentrate Cleaner

1. Mix ZoopSeal Cleaner: 15 parts tap water to 1 part ZoopSeal cleaner in the 8 oz.
spray bottle included in the kit.
2. Clean component thoroughly with ZoopSeal cleaner, you can use the towels provided
or a soft lint free polishing cloth.
3. Spray ZoopSeal Cleaner onto component and thoroughly clean the product. You may
repeat this process as many times as you need in order to have a "squeaky" clean
     product. Be sure to
rinse the component off each time with distilled water.
4. Make sure the component is "squeaky" clean and free of streaking or water spotting.
No water droplets left , water and ZoopSeal do not mix. The component being treated
     needs to be
completely dry.

STEP 2: ZoopSealer
(any left over product left over needs to be refrigerated and kept out of the light and
should last up to 2 weeks)

1. Take the pre-mixed ZoopSealer and apply it in a dry environment. Apply a small

amount onto a lint free soft polishing cloth. Only swipe ZoopSeal on in one

direction one time, until the component is completely covered. DO NOT RUB
ZoopSeal into your component, ZoopSeal automatically flows into the pores of the
metal. A transparent or a rainbow appearing film will appear, this is normal.
Do

not apply ZoopSeal too heavily. More is NOT better! *

The ZoopSeal will apply with the constancy similar to WD-40 oil, and a little bit
will spread out a long ways. What you are effectively accomplishing would be
similar to staining wood, where the ZoopSeal is impregnating into the micro-pores
of the metallic surface. Once absorbed, too much will merely coat on top and will
provide no additional protection other than make it more difficult to rub off the
excess to provide the invisible protection and appearance ZoopSeal offers. The
type of metal and the finish will determine how much ZoopSeal will absorb into
the metal. As an example, natural raw aluminum is very porous and will absorb
more than chrome plating, where only a drop or two will almost appear to "bead
up", similar to water on wax. The ZoopSeal is working, just not as much is needed.

Your goal is to apply a just "moist" coating while trying not to leave beads of liquid
behind. That extra product is not only wasteful, but your going to have to polish
off that excess later on creating a lot of extra work.

2. Allow ZoopSeal to become dry to the touch. This could be as little as two hours
and up to 24 hours. If you applied an exess amount of Zoopseal, this same drying
time could take up to several days. If the part is tacky, it's still not dry! For Polished
parts - proceed to step 3 below; un-polished parts are sealed and do not need step 3.

* If ZoopSeal is applied too heavily, a more aggressive finish polish will have to be
used to remove the excess. We suggest the use of an aggressive billet aluminum polish
to remove this excess. We then advise to use Zoops Final Seal after the removal of the
   excess.

STEP 3: Zoops Final Seal
(do not allow zoops final seal to dry on your component! -  Final Sealing is not necessary or beneficial for non-polished parts)

1. Apply Final Seal lightly with 3" square towel in sections of 6" x 6".
2. While Final Seal is still wet start polishing off the product where ZoopSeal has
been applied, using back and forth strokes until the Final Seal is no longer visible
and a luster appears. If needed, Final Seal can be applied several times using the
same back and forth strokes in order to produce the shine on your component.

Applying the Final Seal can be compared to wiping off paint over spray from a
chromed surface. The freshly ZoopSealed surface will feel slightly rough and
sandy, and you will feel and hear the surface as you run your hand over it. When
the Final Seal procedure has been successfully completed, you will feel a glass
smooth surface as your hand silently glides over it. You have reached your goal.

3. Allow coated material to cure in a warm dry place for 24 hours.
4. Heating the part to 200 degrees for 30 minutes will facilitate longer lasting cure

Not ready to use all of the ZoopSeal at once?  well then, just mix 3/4 of 1 ounce of Part "A" to 1/4 of 1 ounce Part "B" EXACTLY, or CLICK HERE and view our mixing chart at the bottom of that page for an exact mixture ratio.

Cleaning sealed components: Use mild, soapy water or Zoops Cleaner, then rinse with water and dry with a soft towel.
