ABOUT ZOOPSEAL

WHAT IT IS: ZoopSeal™ is a hybrid ceramic sealer, and not a polish or a wax. The ZoopSeal™ kit consists of a pre-cleaner, a 2 part reactive sealer mix, a finish sealer and polish, 50ml mixing beaker, lint free application cloths, a spray bottle, rubber gloves, simple easy to follow instructions as well as an instructional video tape which compliments the instructions with visual examples. That's all there is to it!

WHAT IT DOES: ZoopSeal™ actually SEALS the underlying surface from direct exposure to the elements and oxidation causing atmosphere. This is very unlike other products that claim to "seal" and "protect", in reality only leave behind an oily or wax finish lying on top of the metal which is easily removed by a wipe of a cloth, a splash of water or simply over a short time exposed to the elements. However, ZoopSeal™ clings to the applied surface like a hard coat anodizing, able to withstand years of wiping, water, dirt and routine cleanings.

HOW IT WORKS: ZoopSeal™ is a unique chemical reaction that enters pores and pushes contaminants to the surface, which results in a visual rainbow appearance, indicating the successful treatment of the part. This rainbow effect is easily remove from the exterior surface as the final step in the procedure by a quick buff once initially dried.

Before sealing, use our special Exotic Metal Polish to produce an ever lasting mirror finish

Kit" also includes a

FINISH QUALITIES: The coating is 1/10th mil thick and is a completely clear, transparent, non- discoloring and non-yellowing hard coat finish that does not change the appearance and color or tint of the surface underneath like a painted clear coat does.

MAINTENANCE: Treat your new protected surface like it was paint, not a metal anymore. To clean after application, just use a mild soap, paint detailer, wax or plastic cleaner/polish. There is no need to use a rim polish or other abrasive, toxic products.

THINGS TO AVOID: Excessive abrasion, extended salt exposure without washing, chemicals with high alkaline, and abrasive or harsh chemicals.

HOW TO APPLY IT: It's easy! First, make sure the surface is the way you want to it appear. Polish with your favorite compound as necessary. Then mix the Zoopseal Part-A and Part-B together and allow to blend for a few hours. In the meantime, clean the surface to be protected with the Zoop Cleaner. By this time the Part A/B will be ready to apply. Allow several hours to a day for the Zoopseal to dry and harden (depending on the weather, etc). Then simply polish the coating to an invisible surface - YOUR DONE!

PRODUCT SHELF LIFE:
The product as purchased will last indefinitely before it is mixed. Keep it away from extreme heat or light. Keep several kits around if you like.

MIXED PRODUCT STORAGE LIFE: Once mixed and after using, the remaining portion should be kept in a dark, cool place like a refrigerator away from the light In this environment it can last up to 3 weeks until the liquid appear to separate or coagulate. Sometimes if the refrigerator is cool enough (not freezing)  the product can last much longer. If you notice liquid separation taking place, and you can shake it and remix the contents without coagulating, the product is still usable. Once coagulation takes place, the mixed product must be discarded.

MIXING PROCEDURE: The mixing ratio is 4:1, and can be mixed in any quantities. Since the necessary quantities to mix are very small (3 ounces to 1 ounce), you simply need to be very accurate when dealing with 1/4 ounce to 3/4 ounce rations in the smaller portions. Using a simple medical syringe will make this much easier to measure.

SURFACE COVERAGE: The Full Kit will cover up to 75 square feet, or the equivalent of at least 3-5 sets of 15x10 wheels, or a 10 foot by 7 foot panel. The Junior Kit will cover approximately half of that, or 37 square feet.

COST EFFECTIVENESS: The While the complete kit may appear to be pricey, keep in mind it goes a long, long way. One full kit can treat up to 28 wheels, placing the cost at only $4.64 per wheel to protect! That's less than one can of spray paint, and ZoopSeal™ provides many more times the protection and an invisible appearance. Only 1/8 of an ounce of ZoopSeal™ is needed to completely seal and protect one rim!

FINAL SEAL: Brings polished parts to high lustre. The Final Seal is not necessary for non-polished parts and will not affect the end appearance.

CURING: The treated part can be put into service immediately after application. Full cure takes 7-10 days before it should be subjected to harsh environments. The curing process can be accelerated and the finish made harder by heat curing the part in an oven or under an infrared lamp for 200 degrees for 30 minutes. You can also run the part under hot water once the finish has initially dried to help cure the part faster. Once ZoopSeal is fully cured, it can withstand temperatures up to 400 degrees!

REPAIRING PREVIOUSLY SEALED AREAS: If a portion of the sealed part gets scratched or damaged and you need to sand that specific area and re polish it, simply follow the instructions and re-treat just that area. After the final polish and buff, you will not see any layers, lines or borders, Just try not to over extend the treatment beyond the repaired surfaces, as this is just a waste of product.

SMALL JOBS AND ALTERNATE MIXING QUANTITIES:
If you wish to mix smaller quantities of ZoopSeal™ product, follow the guidelines on the mixing table by CLICKING HERE. Keep in mind that the volumes you are dealing with are very small, so being as accurate as you possibly can is imperative. Incorrect mixture amounts can produce a failed end result during your application or in the longevity of the protection provided. This is why it is recommended that you mix the entire pre-measured contents at once.

HINTS & TIPS in mixing for SMALL JOBS: The latest Kits include a special mixing beaker to accurately facilitate mixing smaller quantities. If you do not have this device and you wish to mix small quantities, get a 30ml to 60ml capacity medical syringe available at most farm supply stores. Draw the desired amount as specified in the table by CLICKING HERE from the Part-A bottle and deposit into a clean, small glass baby food jar. Then thoroughly clean and dry the syringe before drawing from the Part-B bottle, then deposit the prescribed amount into the glass jar and mix. DO NOT use any plastic container not supplied with your ZoopSeal™ kit to mix in, since the supplied plastic bottles are special P.T.E. chemically resistant bottles. If you mix in another plastic container the Part-B chemical may cause a reaction and begin to eat away at the bottle, resulting in a crystallized appearance at the bottom. If this happens, discard the product and re-mix in a clean, glass jar.
